Member must be in good standing in the LHBA. This means that the member must have their 2020/2021 LHBA membership dues paid and full, and no invoices that are past due before the finalists are announced.
Marketing materials must be solely used in the London HBA geographic area or in an adjacent market otherwise not serviced with an HBA/HBA with an awards program and used between June 26, 2019 and June 30, 2020.
New Home, Renovation, and Design projects must be completed within the London HBA geographic area or in an adjacent market otherwise not serviced with an HBA/HBA with an awards program and completed between June 26, 2019 and June 30, 2020.
New Home entry pricing must be inclusive of net HST and the market value for the lot.
To qualify for a Renovation Category, the General Contractor must be a RenoMark Renovator. Information about RenoMark is available in the members resource section at www.lhba.on.ca or by contacting email@example.com
To qualify for a New Home Category, the General Contractor must be registered with Tarion.
Condominium projects must be 25% complete between June 26, 2019 and June 30, 2020 to qualify for Project of the Year.
Should questions arise regarding the category for which any entry is submitted, the member company must be able to substantiate price-point upon request.
Winning entries from a previous year are NOT eligible.
New Home, Renovation, and Marketing Awards will be presented to the “General Contractor” of the project. General Contractor is defined as being responsible for coordinating subcontractors involved in the project.
Design Credit will be presented for New Home, Renovation, and Marketing categories to those LHBA members whom the General Contractor wishes to recognize as having made a significant contribution to the design of the marketing material or building project. If an LHBA member made a significant contribution to the project, please recognize their work. Limit of two design credits per entry.
If a supplier or sub-trade wishes to submit an entry into a New Home, Renovation, or Marketing category to receive Design Credit, they must receive consent from the General Contractor. General Contractor must be a member, and will receive the Award should the entry win.
Design categories are open to submission from any member company.
